<div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2008-07/1215110314_unreal_t_logo_0001.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Почему никто не играет в Unreal Tournament 3?' title='Почему никто не играет в Unreal Tournament 3?' /></div><br />Игра стала «временным эксклюзивом» для PS3 (сначала игра была выпущена на PS3 и PC, и лишь девять месяцев спустя на Xbox360) и частью культовой вселенной популярного франчайза Unreal, а так же доказательством того, что на PS3 возможен хардкорный FPS.<br /><br />Epic хотели снять несколько скриншотов в преддверии выхода версии для консоли 360, но как оказалось это никому не нужно, потому что в уже выпущенные релизы никто не играет. <br /><br />Разработчики предоставляют почти 1000 серверов, на которых может находиться до 12,000 игроков. В реале в день игру запускают максимум 500 человек. <br />Были выпущены патчи для устранения существующих проблем в онлайн-движке, была снижена цена – ничего не смогло поднять уровень продаж. Fiori предположил, что умами фанатов серии UT завладел новый фаворит многопользовательских баталий - Call of Duty 4.<br /><br />Как поступит Epic в такой ситуации? Возможно UT окончательно забросят в пользу более успешного Gears of War? Возможно PC-игры теряют спрос? <br />Fiori предполагает что сам подход был не верен: «Вариант прошлых лет уже не проходит. Раньше можно было выпустить игру для РС и затем исправлять её с помощью бесконечных патчей.» Сейчас, в эру мульти-платформенности такой вариант не проходит. <br /><br />Как мне кажется , UT3 очень сложно будет не ударить в грязь в лицом перед великими предшественниками серии.<br />
