По сравнению с предыдущими играми серии PoP, количество полигонов на персонаж увеличено в 13 раз, что составит даже больше, чем в вышедшем недавно Assassin&#96;s Creed. Сам Принц, каждая черта его лица, его одежда и предметы экипировки из символических станут невероятно реалистичными, благодаря текстурам высокого разрешения и новейшим next-gen технологиям. <br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2008-05/1212141312_aam.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Prince of Persia: подробнее о новой игре' title='Prince of Persia: подробнее о новой игре' /></div><br />Сюжет новой игры абсолютно никак не связан с предыдущими играми серии, а главным нововведением станет вспомогательный женский персонаж Elika. Она будет неотрывно следовать за главным героем и частенько помогать преодолевать те или иные препятствия и головоломки, а также оказывать "посильную помощь" в истреблении противников. Мэттс также сообщил, что принц - он не с самого начала принц. Изначально мы играем за простого путешественника и лишь потом, в процессе игры, наш герой становится принцем.<br /><br />Стало известно также, что, несмотря на появление "парного" персонажа, кооператива не предусматривается.<br /><br />И, наконец, о главном. Выход игры запланирован на конец этого года, ближе к Рождеству. Игра выйдет для РС, Xbox 360 и PS3. Отдельная версия разрабатывается для Nintendo DS.
