Pioneer Corporation и Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. решили объединить свои усилия по разработке и выпуску плазменных панелей. <br /><br />Соглашение между двумя компаниями предусматривает переход отдела разработок Pioneer в ведение Matsushita, которая, в свою очередь, возьмет на себя производство плазменных панелей и модулей с большой диагональю как для собственных продуктов, так и для продуктов своего партнера. В июне компания начнет массовый выпуск новых панелей, в частности, используя наработки Pioneer. К концу 2009 года Pioneer должен выпустить на рынок ряд новинок на основе плазмы, а затем Matsushita интегрирует те же технологии в собственные телевизоры. <br /><br />Компания Pioneer, сфокусированная на плазме класса hi-end, отмечала низкий уровень продаж своих панелей. На фоне общей тенденции к удешевлению большинства плоскопанельных экранов, компания не смогла снизить стоимость своей продукции. Около месяца назад Pioneer объявила о своем намерении отказаться от производства собственных панелей, избрав в качестве партнера Matsushita. <br /><br />Объединив свои наработки в области плазменных технологий, Pioneer и Matsushita планируют избавить плазму от главного недостатка - повышенного энергопотребления, особенно в сравнении с ЖК. <br /><br />Партнеры рассчитывают к 2010 году создать плазменный телевизор с крупной диагональю, энергопотребление которого будет снижено на две трети по сравнению с современными образцами. Одновременно с этим будет значительно увеличена контрастность. Толщина телевизора при этом составит менее дюйма. <br /><br />Как заявил Кен Морита, старший вице-президент Panasonic AVC Networks Company, "нам по силам создать 42-дюймовый плазменный телевизор с энергопотреблением 150 Ватт, что сопоставимо с 27-дюймовыми ЭЛT-аналогами. Также мы способны снизить энергопотребление плазмы с диагональю 100 дюймов до уровня современных плазменных телевизоров". <br /><br />При производстве новых плазменных панелей, которые должны появиться в этом году, Matsushita возьмет на вооружение технологии Pioneer, позволяющие добиваться высокой контрастности и светоотдачи, а также опыт компании по разработке тонких панелей. <br /><br />Компания Pioneer запустит две новые линии по производству плоскоэкранной электроники. Одна из них займется выпуском продукции на основе ЖК-технологий. В качестве поставщика соответствующих панелей выступит компания Sharp. Вторая линия будет ориентирована на плазму. В производстве будут использоваться плазменные панели компании Matsushita. В зависимости от рыночных тенденций руководство Pioneer может пересмотреть свою стратегию в отношении сегмента телевизоров с большой диагональю. Не исключено, что в производстве 42-, 44- и 46-дюймовых телевизоров компания откажется от плазменных технологий в пользу ЖК. <br /><br />Между тем Matsushita, напротив, намерена выпускать продукцию с крупной диагональю на основе плазмы. В производстве продукции небольшого и среднего размеров будут использоваться ЖК-технологии. <br /><br />В Matsushita считают, что 47% всех плоскоэкранных телевизоров, которые продадут в Японии в 2008 году, будут иметь диагонали больше 37 дюймов. В 2011 году доля подобной продукции вырастет и составит 52%. Также в нынешнем году возрастет до 51% количество проданных на местном рынке телевизоров высокой четкости. По оценке аналитиков Matsushita, в 2007 году этот показатель составил 31%, а в 2011-м достигнет 74%. <br />
