Сегодня Apple ведет судебное разбирательство с аналогичным заявлением относительно дисплеев  iMac. <br /><br />В понедельник в суде города San Jose Browun Kellner, представитель компании Kabatek заявил, что Apple сознательно вводит в заблуждение своих потребителей,скрывая тот факт, что новый монитор iMac диагональю 20” является более простой моделью нежели ее предшественник с такой же диагональю, то же самое можно отнести к новым мониторам диагональю 24”. <br /><br />Компания Kabatek обвиняет компанию Mac в том, что характеристика дисплеев диагональю 20” и 24”, в которой говорится, что они отображают «миллионы цветов во всех разрешениях» не соответствует действительности. На деле же все это характерно лишь для модели с диагональю 24” и дисплея с диагональю 20” предыдущего поколения – они отображают 16 миллионов цветов на 8-ми битах. Дисплей iMac 20” отображает  в 98 раз меньше цветов – 262 тыс. В то время как Apple заявляет,  что мониторы идентичны. В связи с этим, Kabatek настаивает на том факте, что мониторы сделаны по разным технологиям.  <br />Новая модель дисплея iMac 20” на 6-ти битной основе  создана по  технологии (TN) LCD, которая считается наиболее дешевой, при этом угол обзора существенно уменьшается по сравнению с 24”, дисплей не передает глубины цвета, меньше точность передачи цвета и больше подвержены выцветанию пикселов. Цена при этом на такой дисплей довольно высока.<br />
