Компания Dell представила новую модель ЖК-монитора, Dell UltraSharp 2009W. Новый монитор с длиной диагонали экрана 20 дюймов и разрешением 1680 x 1050 точек способен отображать 102% цветового диапазона NTSC, что стало возможным благодаря технологии Dell TrueColor.

По сравнению с предыдущей моделью, 2007WFP, новый монитор дает не только более точную цветопередачу, но и более высокий контраст: 2000:1 против 800:1. Оба параметра говорят о том, что монитор можно использовать для работы с графикой. Кроме того, 5-миллисекундное время отклика говорит о том, что монитор можно использовать и для видеоигр.

Подключение к ПК осуществляется посредством DVI-интерфейса. Причем последний поддерживает HDCP, что позволяет осуществлять просмотр фильмов, записанных в разрешении высокой четкости. Также имеются VGA-порт и четыре USB-разъема. Монитор поддерживает книжную ориентацию.
