Apple и Sony: быть ли Blu-ray приводам в MacBook?

Мы знаем, что вы уже несколько устали от слухов про Apple и Blu-Ray, но сейчас они разгораются с новой силой и пока Стив Джобс сотоварищи будет раскручивать этот огромный рекламный маховик, нам придется плыть в этом потоке PR вместе с ним. По последним данным Apple “прессует” Sony на тему массовых поставок приводов для дисков BD-R, однако Sony из-за серьезной системы контроля качества не могут значительно увеличивать производственный план. Как сообщается, “яблочная” компания хочет включить в обновление линейки MacBook приводы Blu-ray / DVD±RW, которые производит только Sony и в которых им было отказано. Это кажется немного странным, честно говоря, когда война форматов уже окончена и соревнование подходит к логическом у завершению, Apple хочет встраивать в ноутбуки из среднего сегмента BD-R приводы. Но вопрос вопросов: хочет ли Apple платить за членство в Blu-ray Disc Association, члены которой имеют эксклюзивное право на использование любых Blu-ray устройств? Конечно, поживем – увидим, но, наверное, что-то будет! Не так ли?
