Кроме того, в них устанавливается новая операционная система Tizen.<br /><br />Samsung представил свою концепцию аппаратно-программного обновления устаревающих моделей телевизоров (Evolution Kit) в 2012 году. Каждый год с тех пор компания выпускает новые наборы Evolution, который могут быть подключены к некоторым из телевизоров компании, чтобы обновить оборудование, интеллектуальные функции, а иногда и качество изображения.<br /><br />Новый Evolution Kit 2015 (SEK- 3500U) имеет внутри восьми ядерный процессор и позволит обновить операционную систему, установив Tizen, которая является новой общей платформой для разных устройств. Разработана она совместно Samsung и Intel. Evolution Kit также добавляет возможность декодирования в стандарте VP9, которая позволяет владельцам принимать с YouTube видео с разрешением 4К.<br /><br />Но есть еще одно важное дополнение для владельцев хай-энд телевизоров 2014 года, таких как HU9000 HU8700 и HU8550, потому что SEK-3500, по-видимому, также позволяет обрабатывать новый формат PQ, используемый для контента с поддержкой HDR.
