Британский оператор спутникового телевещания British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB), наконец, выбросил полотенце и объявил, что закрывает в июне свой телеканал в формате 3D, через пять лет после того как он был впервые запущен.<br /><br />BSkyB, как полагают, потратил миллионы фунтов в неудачной попытке популяризировать технологию домашнего 3D видео, но жанр так и столь же популярен, как в городском кинотеатре. Теперь остается подождать закрытия американских сетевых 3D видеосервисов.<br /><br />Случилось то, о чем умные люди и <a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/articles/8392-roger_ebert.html" >трезвомыслящие кинорежиссеры</a> (а также и наши читатели в комментариях 2010 года) предупреждали еще в самом начале рекламной кампании 3D технологии. Конечно, Ultra HD - это немного другой случай. Но тоже есть немало профессионально обоснованных мнений о спорности новой технологии повышенного разрешения на, пока, достаточно  маленьком домашнем экране.
