Google в настоящее время работает над более совершенной версией, после того как первая получила неоднозначную оценку.<br /><br />Google представила свои Glass в апреле 2012 года и начала продавать, как дорогую версию "Explorer". Но уже в январе следующего года Google прекратила продажи, что привело некоторых людей к мысли, что проект был закрыт. Но это не так, говорит исполнительный директор Google Эрик Шмидт. Он подчеркивает, что такие устройства требуют времени и отмечает, что технология подобных очков слишком важна, чтобы отказаться от нее. Google Glass - это отдельный проект исследовательской лаборатории Google X, которая также занимается созданием самоходного автомобиля. <br /><br />По первым слухам, новая версия Glass более компактная, имеет большее время автономной работы и использует последние видео технологии. Google также отмечает, что разрабатывается оптимальный вариант для крепления на обычные очки. <br />Google недавно вложила миллионы долларов в компанию под названием Magic Leap, которая, как полагают, разработала впечатляющую технологию виртуальной реальности. <br /><br />Первые Google Glass критиковали за то, что они слишком агрессивные и тормозные, но в носимых компьютерах это пожалуй неизбежно.
