Одной из последних стала "Жизнь Пи" с удивительными визуальными эффектами. Свой следующий фильм, а это будет военная драма, известный режиссер собирается снимать в 3D, в сверхвысоком разрешении и со сверх высокой частотой 120 кадров в секунду.<br /><br />Одним из первых фильмов с использованием высокой частоты кадров (HFR) был "Хоббит" Питера Джексона. Некоторые люди жаловались, что действие на экране выглядело "слишком реально", но  может быть это именно то, чего Энг Ли надеется добиться в своем следующем фильме “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk” по мотивам войны в Ираке. В центре повествования Билли Линн с однополчанами, которые выживают в жестоком бою.<br /><br />Энг Ли будет использовать для съемок 3D камеру Sony F65 с высоким разрешением и частотой 120 кадров в секунд, чтобы вы почувствовали, как несладко солдатам в зоне военных действий. Хоббит был снят с частотой 48 Гц. <br />Неясно, найдутся ли кинотеатры которые смогут воспроизводить 120 кадров в секунду во всей красе, но сочетание этих технологий, безусловно, может вывести нас на следующий уровень после удивительных визуальных эффектов в "Жизнь Пи". Съемки начнутся в апреле, но дата завершения не установлена.
