Главной особенностью Shield является полная поддержку 4K видео и игрового оборудования.<br /><br />Вы сможете играть во все игры, которые доступны на других телевизионных  Android устройствах, а благодаря мощному процессору Tegra X1 приставка будет поддерживать игры самого высокого класса. Как говорят, аппаратная мощность "в два раза мощнее", чем у Xbox 360.<br /><br />Nvidia Shield позволит принимать 4K с YouTube, потому что поддерживает декодирование HEVC и VP9. Она также поддерживает объемный звук в конфигурации 7.1. <br /><br />Плохая новость в том, что объем встроенной памяти только 16 ГБ, что смехотворно мало для такого игрового устройства. Тем не менее, вы сможете добавить с MicroSD карт до 128 ГБ. Nvidia Shield будет доступна в мае за $ 199 (скорее для США) с контроллером. <br />
