Компания Samsung отмечает, что смена должности Ли произошла не из-за недовольства его работой, как сообщалось ранее. В Samsung отмечают, что Ли назначен на одну из важнейших должностей.<br /><br />«Высоко оценивая опыт и профессионализм г-на Стива Ли, руководство Samsung Electronics приняло данное решение о его новом назначении в рамках реорганизации компании и практики ротации президентов региональных офисов.<br />Г-н Стив Ли будет курировать вопросы стратегического маркетинга подразделения мобильного бизнеса компании начиная с февраля 2015», — говорится в сообщении компании.<br /><br />В российском представительстве Samsung не ответили на запрос «Ленты.ру» о том, кто сменит Стива Ли в рамках запланированной ротации. Стив Ли возглавлял российский офис Samsung с мая 2014 года. За время его работы доля компании на рынке смартфонов, одном из важнейших для корпорации, несколько выросла. Однако по результатам 2014 года корейская компания уступила первое место по выручке в этом сегменте рынка Apple.
