Задержка объясняется тем, что это один из первых плееров с поддержкой беспроводной технологии WISA.<br /><br />Уникальность универсального плеера Sharp SD WH1000U заключается не только в  том, что он сможет воспроизводить цифровые записи с дисков CD, DVD, SACD и Blu-ray, но и может отравлять считываемые данные по беспроводному каналу на телевизоры и ресиверы или громкоговорители, оснащенные поддержкой WISA. А при использовании беспроводного моста Sharp VR WR100U, уже любое устройство из домашней беспроводной сети cможет получать, как видео, так и аудиосигнал с Sharp SD WH1000U.<br /><br />Для дистанционного управления может использоваться приложение для мобильных устройств на базе Android и iOS. Продажи Blu-ray плеера Sharp SD WH1000U ожидаются в начале этого года в США, по цене около $5 тыс. Очевидно, позднее его можно будет встретить и в Европе.
