Прототип инновационного плеера Panasonic можно было увидеть на крупнейшей международной выставке потребительской электроники CES 2015, в Лас-Вегасе, Невада, США.<br /><br />Новый продукт объединяет в себе новейшие оптические технологии и технологии обработки видео, над совершенствованием которых инженеры Panasonic работали много лет. Прототип может воспроизводить 4K видео высокого разрешения (3840x2160 пикселей)/60p/10 бит. А поддержка High Dynamic Range и других инновационных решений позволила существенно повысить яркость (с прежних 100 нит до 1000-10000 нит), что повысит реалистичность восприятия изображения. Расширенный цветовой диапазон изображения нового плеера соответствует требованиям UHDTV, оформленным в рекомендации ITU-R BT.2020. Его предполагаемое появление в продаже позволяет надеяться на то, что уже в обозримом будущем пользователи смогут наслаждаться необычайно четким и реалистичным видео в формате 4K Ultra HD на домашнем экране.<br /><br />Начиная с 2002 года, когда был анонсирован стандарт Blu-ray, компания Panasonic постоянно расширяет спектр поддерживающих его устройств, способствуя развитию отрасли. В 2004 году компания выпустила первый в мире рекордер для записи двусторонних Blu-ray дисков 50 ГБ, а в 2006 году - первый проигрыватель, поддерживающий воспроизведение BD-Video.
