LG и Samsung останутся в следующем году лидерами по объемам продаж телевизоров и, по прогнозам, на долю корейских компаний придется 40% рынка в 2015 году.

Стимулируемые ростом экономики на таких крупных рынках, как Северная Америка и Китай, а также ростом популярности новых моделей с большими экранами, продажи ЖК телевизоров в 2014 году по прогнозам достигнут 215 миллионов штук, а среднегодовой рост составит 5,4%.

Несмотря медленный рост мировых продаж, Samsung и LG уже демонстрируют положительную динамику в преддверии нового сезона продаж. Исследовательская компания WitsView полагает, что давление корейских производителей неизбежно повлечет сокращение общей доли китайских и японских брендов.

У китайских компаний сегодня нет условий для расширения продаж на внутреннем рынке в связи с его насыщением. Таким образом, все производители активно стремятся осваивать внешние рынки в надежде получить новый импульс для роста продаж. "Китайские компании, безусловно, столкнутся с сопротивлением со стороны корейских производителей». Прогнозируемая доля рынка китайцев вырастет незначительно, с нынешних 26,3% до 27,9% к следующему году",- сказал К.К. Чанг, научный руководитель исследовательской компании WitsView. Что касается японских производителей, из-за растущей конкуренции со стороны китайских и корейских компаний, они смогут сосредоточиться только на продвижении моделей среднего и высшего класса. Таким образом, их доля рынка, вероятно, будет сокращаться с 19,1% в этом году до 16,9% в 2015 году.

WitsView прогнозирует, что доля продаж 4K TV значительно возрастет, с 5,1% в этом году до 14,2% в 2015 году. А у китайских компаний доля 4К моделей в выпускаемой продукции достигнет 20%.

В сравнении с положительной динамикой продаж 4K телевизоров, приемлемость для рынка изогнутых ТВ остается под вопросом. У каждого производителя свое мнение о необходимости криволинейной поверхности телеэкрана, далеко не все поставщики панелей уделяют внимание изогнутым моделям. WitsView прогнозирует, что в 2015 году доля продаж изогнутых ТВ немного увеличится, с 0,5% в этом году до 2,5% в следующем.
