Компания заявляет, что обновленная платформа обеспечивает великолепные впечатления от использования, которыми не может похвастаться ни один из конкурентов. <br /><br />"За счет трех основных функций – Простое подключение, Простое переключение и Простой поиск - webOS сделала управление современными ТВ-системами простым как никогда. Усилия производителя не остались незамеченными, что привело к продажам более 1 миллиона телевизоров в первые два месяца после появления этой платформы в начале этого года и к рекордному показателю продаж в 5 миллионов штук за восемь месяцев."<br /><br />Среди новшеств WebOS 2.0 стоит отметить функцию «Мои каналы», которая позволяет настроить любимые телеканалы (как с цифровой антенны, так и с совместимой ТВ-приставки) в Панели запуска. «Быстрые установки» помогут пользователям настроить телевизор под себя, не прерывая просмотр, а через «Управление подключениями» можно быстро распознавать подсоединенные внешние устройства.
