Первый телевизоры Sony с Android  появятся в феврале 2015 года,  с  поддержкой PlayStation Now и Remote Play. Цены для американского рынка будут начинаться с уровня около $ 700 (по неофициальным сообщениям).<br /><br />Уже известно, что телевизоры на основе Android TV в следующем году будет выпускать не только Sony, на аналогичной платформе выйдут модели Sharp и Philips. Что в последующем может привести к унификациии смарт платформы основных производителей. Хотя LG с ее Web OS конечно не заинтересована в этом.<br /><br />Известно, что новые телевизоры Sony будут поддерживать PlayStation Now (по крайней мере, в США), что позволяет  владельцы ТВ Sony использовать игры для PlayStation  фактически без консоли. Вам просто нужно будет подключить контроллер PlayStation к телевизору через Bluetooth. и запускать с PlayStation Now игры для PS2 и PS3, но не для PS4. Будут доступны еще игры от Google.<br /><br />Кроме того, Android телевизоры Sony поддержат функцию PS4 Remote Play, что позволяет транслировать игры от вашей приставки PlayStation 4 к телевизорам в других комнатах через домашнюю сеть Wi-Fi. <br /><br />Android TV имеет доступ в магазин Google Play, откуда вы можете скачать приложения для приема видео. Пульт дистанционного управления для телевизоров Sony будет поддерживать голосовой поиск и технологию NFC. <br /><br />Sony покажет весь модельный ряд телевизоров 2015 года на выставке CES 2015 в январе.
