Семьи, где есть слабослышащие люди, всегда оказываются перед выбором: смотреть телевизор с нормальным уровнем громкости или же мучиться от кричащего звука, но позволить бабушке смотреть ТВ с комфортом.<br /><br />Доктор наук Маркос Саймон (Marcos Simon) разработал специальную акустическую систему с так называемым «линейным массивом», состоящим из большого количества одинаковых громкоговорителей. В изобретении Маркоса,  задействована технология фазового сдвига акустического сигнала. При этом усиленный звуковой поток создается именно в тех местах, где располагается человек со слабым слухом. <br /><br />На данный момент эта задумка находится в стадии тестирования, результаты которого, по заявлению разработчиков, положительные.<br /><br />Похожую технология использует Yamaha в своих звуковых проекторах (саундбарах), но там за счет фазовых и временных задержек достигается эффект виртуального объемного звучания.
