Это подтверждает то, предыдущие сообщения об окончательном завершении эры плазменных телевизоров. Финальная стадия заката началась с отказа от их производства компанией Panasonic в 2013 году. Прекращает выпуска плазм и Samsung, практически одновременно с LG.<br /><br />Впрочем, есть еще одна компания, которая продолжает выпуск плазменных телевизоров – китайская Changhong, но ее модели продаются лишь в Китае и, конечно, не могут никак конкурировать с высококачественными плазмами.<br /><br />Стоит отметить, что LG прекращает производство плазм можно в связи с рыночной ситуацией. Из-за отсутствия необходимых для производства плазменных панелей материалов, которые больше не будут поставляться из-за падения спроса на плазмы. Хотя LG отмечала ранее, что в некоторых странах плазмы по-прежнему "берут". В течение некоторого времени компания еще  еще будет поставлять в продажу модели плазм бюджетного уровня.<br /><br />В будущем компания продолжит выпуск ЖК LED моделей HDTV и Ultra HDTV и продолжит совершенствовать свои OLED телевизоры, которые должны стать преемниками плазм и в выпуске которых корейский производитель имеет преимущество над конкурентами.
