Стильный алюминиевый корпус делает телевизор элегантные даже несмотря на большой размер экрана. В состав платформы смарт ТВ входят  такие встроенные приложения, как YouTube, Netflix, но Netflix 4K в Европе не подтвержден. <br />Это первый европейский Ultra HD телевизор Sharp, ранее был выпущен вариант "псевдо-4К" телевизора с увеличенным количеством суб-пикселей, в сравнении с Full HD телевизорами. <br /><br />В США Sharp уже продает 4K телевизоры. Модель Sharp UD20 в настоящее время доступна в большинстве европейских стран по цене 3400 и 4600 евро за 60 "(LC-60UD20EN) и 70" (LC-70UD20EN) варианты, соответственно.
