Кто-то  может вспомнить еще противостояния VHS против Betamax, потом было SACD против DVD-Audio и совсем недавно Blu-ray против HD-DVD.<br />Сегодняшнее воодушевление от анонсов усовершенствованного формата объемного звука до недавнего времени сдерживалось пониманием необходимости выбора одной из двух технологий - Dolby Atmos или Auro3D. В каждой используется собственный подход для создания одинаковых эффектов расширенной вверх  звуковой картины.<br /><br />Dolby Atmos выпустила первый залп в этом сражении и тем самым обеспечила себе преимущество в виде поддержки большинства производителей аудио/видео ресиверов (Onkyo, Pioneer, Denon, Marantz и Yamaha). Первым в продаже появился и Blu-ray диск с саундтреком Dolby Atmos (Трансформеры: Эпоха истребления). В ближайшее время количество таких дисков должно увеличить.<br /><br />До недавнего времени развитие Auro3D тормозилось из-за более сложного алгоритма обработки звука, на сегодняшний день пока нет Blu-ray дисков со звуком в формате Auro3D. Все выглядит так, как будто Dolby Atmos выходит в лидеры, так как производители уже начинают выпуск громкоговорителей с поддержкой Dolby Atmos. Тем не менее, война еще далека от завершения, Dolby Atmos получает еще одного соперника.<br /><br /><div align="center"><!--TBegin--><a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2014-10/1413288206_dts.jpg" onclick="return hs.expand(this)" ><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2014-10/thumbs/1413288206_dts.jpg" alt='DTS выпускает конкурента для Dolby Atmos и Auro3D' title='DTS выпускает конкурента для Dolby Atmos и Auro3D'  /></a><p class="thumb_enlarge"><img src="/engine/skins/images/enlarge.png" width="16" height="16" border="0">Кликните на картинку для ее увеличения</p><!--TEnd--></div><br /><br />Звук большинства выпущенных на сегодняшний день Blu-ray дисков закодирован с использованием формата DTS HD-Master Audio, что дает DTS явное преимущество, если она примет решение присоединиться к этой гонке аудио технологий. А если верить слухам, DTS собирается продвигать на рынок свой новый «многомерный аудио формат» (MDA - Multi Dimensional Audio). Технология была разработана SRS Labs, которая находится в собственности DTS, и первые сообщения о формате появились в этом году. Окончательный вариант, возможно, будет называться DTS UHD, но нам придется подождать до январской выставки CES 2015, чтобы выяснить все подробности и понять может ли полностью измениться баланс сил в битве новых аудио технологий пространственного звучания.<br /><br />Вполне возможно, что лучшей политикой сегодня является наблюдение за развитием новых форматов, пытаясь определить победителя соревнования. Киностудиям обычно не нравится делать несколько звуковых дорожек к своим фильмам на Blu-ray, поэтому неизбежно, что один из форматов будет доминировать над другими. Возможно также, что будут выпущены ресиверы и процессоры, которые смогут обрабатывать все три варианта звука.
