Благодаря кривизне экрана монитор расширяет поле зрения, а также делает размеры визуально большими, чем 27-дюймов.<br /><br />SD590C обеспечивает яркость 350 нит и  динамическую мега контрастность (3000: 1). Встроенная стереосистема состоит из двух встроенных в искривленную панель динамиков и обеспечивает номинальную мощность 5 Вт.<br /><br />С помощью всего лишь одного щелчка мыши монитор переключается в режим игры, с мгновенной оптимизацией параметров. Это обнаруживается в изменении характера сюжетов, с повышением контрастности и насыщенности цвета, что сделает темные участки темнее, а светлые еще ярче.<br /><br />В игровом режиме также обогащается звуковая составляющая. За счет изменения тембра звуковых эффектов они представляются более реалистично. Во-вторых, наиболее важные звуки игры (например, шумы автомобиля  в играх с вождением, взрывы в военных играх или темпераментные выкрики в ролевой игре) будут выделяться на фоне музыки.<br /><br />Пользователи могут подключаться два или даже три SD590C монитора вместе для создания более широкого экрана с плавной кривизной.<br /><br />SD590C будет доступен вначале в США с 1 октября 2014 по цене $429,99.
