Это обеспечивает слушателю полное погружение в звуковое поле. <br /><br />Генеральный директор Onkyo Corporation  Кевин Мияги заявил: "Мы рады предоставить это бесплатное обновление для владельцев наших сетевых ресиверов 2014 года, начиная с TX-NR636. "Наши ресиверы с поддержкой Dolby Atmos позволяют клиентам Onkyo не только слушать новые аудиозаписи, которые будут выпущены в формате Dolby Atmos, но и обеспечат расширенные возможности для прослушивания текущих библиотек на Blu-ray с использованием Dolby Surround."<br /><br />Кроме Onkyo, и другие производители ресиверов, включая  Pioneer,  Yamaha  и  Denon  также объявили о выпуске ресиверов  с поддержкой Dolby Atmos, которая должна утвердиться в качестве одной из ключевых аудиотехнологий домашнего кинотеатра в 2014/15 гг.
