Южнокорейский производитель бытовой электроники выделил $38 млн. на финансирование доработки проекта американской компании.<br /><br />Kateeva работает с 2008 года, в прошлом года анонсировала свое &#8203;&#8203;инновационное решение под названием YIELDjet для струйной печати OLED панелей. Что касается больших экранов, оборудование для их производства планируется выпускать с начала следующего года. Это означает, что Samsung сможет, наконец, делать OLED телевизоры.<br /><br />Конечно, это может получиться и не так. А пока LG является единственным производителем с жизнеспособной OLED технологией, которая позволила компании монополизировать рынок. LG использует первоначально разработанную Kodak т. н. "белую OLED технологию". Сегодня LG заявляет о 80 процентном выходе годных OLED панелей. Аналитики предсказывают доминирование LG на рынке OLED, по крайней мере, в течение еще нескольких лет. Косвенным свидетельством является то, что только LG выпускает в этом году новые модели OLED телевизоров.<br /><br />Но инвестиции Samsung в Kateeva демонстрируют серьезные надежды на эту технологии, корейская компания надеется склонить чашу весов в свою пользу.
