Сегодня по заявлению LG уже 80% производимых OLED панелей идут на сборку телевизоров. А 20 % составляет некондиция.<br /><br />В начале освоения производства 55-дюймовых OLED панелей и у LG, и у Samsung был очень большой процент брака, с конвейеров выходило лишь 20-30% годных панелей. На IFA 2014 LG заявила о том, что процент выхода годных панелей сейчас достигает 80%, и поэтому компания имеет возможность продавать OLED телевизор по цене менее $3000 долларов.<br /><br />К тому времени, когда LG добьется 95 % КПД от производства, компания настолько снизит собственные издержки при выпуске OLED телевизоров, что сможет производить OLED телевизоры дешевле, чем модели ЖК. Конечно, если все пойдет по плану, LG полагает, что через три года объем продаж OLED и ЖК телевизоров сравняется.<br /><br />Недавно LG объявила о выпуске 55-дюймового OLED телевизора за $3500, новые OLED телевизоры компании будут доступны в  Европе  и США со следующего месяца.
