По данным из надежных источников, корейский гигант разрабатывает телевизор с использованием технологии Quantum Dot LED (QSD), такое решение сулит ряд серьезных преимуществ. В квантовых светодиодах используется полупроводник в виде нанокристаллов, более эффективный, по сравнению с обычным светодиодом. Телевизор с технологией QSD, кажется, не просто разрабатывается, но уже может быть представлен на Берлинской выставке. Насколько это верно мы узнаем уже вскоре, но корейские источники, такие как The Korea Times, заявляют о наличии прототипа на стендах IFA.<br /><br />В то же время, кажется, что соперник / соотечественник LG не собирается оставаться в стороне. Даже при том, что это событие менее вероятно, но может оказаться, что и на стендах LG окажется прототип подобной модели телевизора с использованием квантовых точек.<br /><br />P.S. Sony представила первые телевизоры с использованием <a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/articles/13641-sony-triluminos.html" >квантовых точек</a> в прошлом году.
