Разработанная Samsung Electronics и Oculus гарнитура использует специальные линзы и датчики для создания эффекта виртуальной реальности. Ожидается, что по дизайну и функциональности гарнитура Samsung будет похожа на Sony Morpheus, которая выполнена в виде маски для подводного плавания, подключаемой к PlayStation 4. Как и в случае с Oculus Rift, она обеспечивает 3D изображения, распознает мимику лица для обратной связи вместо таких устройств, как мыши и клавиатуры.<br /><br />Виртуальная гарнитура Samsung скорее всего будет использоваться с операционной системой Tizen, которая используется в большинстве подобных продуктов Samsung Electronics.<br /><br />Samsung анонсирует на выставке потребительской электроники IFA в Берлине новый телевизор со 105-дюймовым гибким дисплеем, самым большим в мире. Сгибаемый экран позволяет зрителю менять углы обзора, чтобы "насладиться" как плоским, так и изогнутым изображением на экране.
