И  теперь Comicbook.com получил подтверждение от двух независимых, достоверных источников, что такая работа ведется.<br /><br />По этим данным, Disney планирует выпустить оригинальный вариант трилогии Star Wars  на Blu-ray. Те же источники указывают, что над проектом работают уже в течение достаточно долгого времени, но реализация этой затеи достаточно трудна из-за некоторого повреждения оригинальных негативов. Целью сегодняшней работы является выпуск New Hope, Empire Strikes Back и Return of Jedi в полном, без изменений, первоначальном виде.<br /><br />Когда будет завершена эта работа, пока неизвестно, в связи с проблемами студии Дисней. Тем не менее, из неофициальных данных стало известно, что еще раньше в кинотеатрах начнется показ Star Wars Episode VII.
