LG Display, наконец, впервые превосходит своего главного соперника Samsung, по результатам на конец мая 2014 года.<br /><br />Специалисты исследовательской компании NPD DisplaySearch заявляют, что компания LG в настоящее время контролирует 27,6 % мирового рынка 4K панелей, по сравнению с 22,9 % в предыдущем месяце. Напротив, доля UHDTV панелей Samsung сократилась до 22,2 % с 23,4 % в предыдущем месяце.<br /><br />Тем не менее, южнокорейские компании все еще уступают тайваньской INNOLUX, которая остается компанией номер один в мире на рынке 4K TV панелей с 36,7 % долей рынка. И все-таки преимущество INNOLUX сокращается достаточно быстро. Так как в январе компания контролировала сразу 70 % рынка телевизионных 4K панелей, а значит, за четыре месяца потеряла почти половину своей рыночной доли.<br /><br />Так почему произошли такие внезапные изменения? Просто потому, что LG и Samsung резко активизировалли свои усилия с начала этого года, выпустив модели 4К панелей более низкого класса в попытке доминировать на рынке. Например, LG поставила 392000 4K панелей в мае, по сравнению с всего лишь 26 000 штук в декабре 2013 года.<br /><br />Одной из причин укрепления позиций LG является то, что компания поставляет свои панели другим производителям, включая Panasonic и Sony в дополнение к продажам своих UHD телевизоров.<br /><br />К сожалению, до сих пор нет сообщений о соотношении между долями ЖК и OLED панелей, хотя мы надеемся, что выпуск последних будет расти с учетом их великолепных характеристик, включая бесконечно высокую контрастность и уровень черного цвета в 0 кд / кв. м.
