Это Ultra HD телевизоры высшего класса с встроенной фирменной системой подсветки окружающего пространства Ambilight, платформа Smart TV выполнена на основе операционной системы Android от Google.<br /><br />Этот UHD телевизор поддерживает интерфейс HDMI 2.0, что позволяет подключать источники 4K сигналов. Однако, нет упоминания о наличии встроенного декодера HEVC, что означает невозможность непосредственного приема в сверхвысоком разрешении телепрограмм и потоковых видеосервисов.<br /><br />В новых UHD телевизорах Philips используются такие фирменные технологии, как Perfect Pixel Ultra HD и Micro Dimming Premium. Телевизор будет предлагать доступ к приложениям через платформу Smart TV на основе Android. Это не официальная версия Android от Google, но фирменная реализация Philips обеспечивает доступ к Google Play Store и играм. <br /><br />В Philips 9809 встроена 4-х сторонняя система Ambilight, которая может работать совместно с системой освещения Philips Hue.
