Там, где очень яркое внешнее освещение, чтобы выжать из телевизора максимально эффектную картинку продавцы устанавливают на максимум "Яркость OLED". Дело в том, что пиковая яркость OLED не предполагает очень высокую светоотдачу, как и на плазме пиковая яркость составляет 200 кд / м &#178;, тогда как ЖК LED может повышать  ее до 400 кд / м &#178; и более.<br />Но эти утверждения еще требуют проверки. Между тем, есть, опять же официально неподтвержденные сообщения о том, что LG заменяла телевизоры с выявленным дефектом "послесвечения".<br /><br />С другой стороны, используемые ежедневно в затемненных условиях OLED телевизоры не страдали от этого эффекта, когда пиковая яркость установлена на 110 кд / м &#178; в темноте и 140 кд / м &#178; при дневном свете. <br /><br />Можно предполагать, OLED технология WRGB LG более чувствительна к "послесвечению", чем OLED панели RGB Samsung. Однако, некоторые 55-дюймовые телевизоры Samsung (RGB OLED) показали серьезные проблемы в цветопередаче уже через несколько месяцев эксплуатации. Насыщенность цвета, особенно синего, падала  после 6 месяцев использования.<br /><br />Подобные единичные сообщения не должны служить основанием для отказа от технологии, но могут стать  полезным предостережением на начальном этапе ее развития. Не накручивайте яркость без необходимости на то.
