Используется новая версия интерфейса HDMI 2.0, поддерживается воспроизведение звука высокого разрешения, используются технологии Apple AirPlay, aptX Bluetooth и интегрированный Wi-Fi.<br /><br />SC-LX88 имеет девять аудио каналов с выходной мощностью по 260 Вт на канал. Между тем, модели SC-LX78 и SC-LX58 также используют 9-канальный усилитель, но выходная мощность по 250 ватт и 240 Вт на канал, соответственно. Наиболее доступные ресиверы SC-2024 и SC-1224 имеют аудио усилитель  на 7 каналов с выходной мощностью по 200 Вт на канал.<br /><br />Все пять новых ресиверов Pioneer выпускаются с двумя выходами для подключения сабвуферов и с новым эквалайзером для настройки сабвуферов, который является частью фирменной расширенной, многоканальной системы акустической калибровки (MCACC). Новые модели SC-LX поддерживают независимую калибровку двух сабвуферов.<br /><br />В моделях SC-LX доступна новая аудиотехнология Dolby Atmos после обновления прошивки, которая выйдет в конце этого лета и "обеспечит слушателей современной технологией пространственного звучания".<br /><br />Разнообразные потоковые сервисы доступны для всех пяти новых моделей. Все они поддерживают технологию DLNA, имеют возможность проводного и беспроводного подключения к локальной и глобальной сети.<br /><br />Все модели оснащены цифроаналоговым преобразователем (ЦАП) Sabre и модулями усиления Direct Energy HD. Поддерживается воспроизведение файлов типа DSD, WAV, FLAC, AIFF и ALAC, а также многоканальных FLAC / WAV 5.0 и 5.1 на 24 бит/ 96кГц.<br /><br />Новые ресиверы Pioneer позволяют использовать приложение для удаленного управления IControlAV5, которое доступно для бесплатного скачивания с Google Play Store и Apple App Store. <br /><br />Ресиверы Pioneer SC-1224 и SC-2024 появятся в Европе с июля, в то время как СК-LX58 выпустят в августе, а SC-LX78 и SC-LX88 следует ждать в сентябре. Российские цены, как и начало продаж, пока неизвестны.
