В лондонском кинотеатре Vue Multiplex будут организованы два теле сеанса с приемом в прямом эфире. <br /><br />Sony не сообщает, где можно купить билеты на четверть финал  4 июля и финал 13 июля,  транслируемый с легендарного стадиона Маракана в Рио-де-Жанейро. <br /><br />Для выполнения этого проекта Sony пришлось объединиться с несколькими партнерами, в том числе IDC, Eutelsat и DSAT Cinema. Съемки будут вестись с помощью 4K камер Sony, цифровой сигнал с частотой кадров 60 Гц, сжатый с использованием нового кодека HEVC будет передан в Великобританию по спутниковым каналам Eutelsat. Принятый сигнал будет декодироваться с помощью компаний IDC и DSAT для последующей проекции с использованием специального  4K проектора Sony.<br /><br />Для тех, кто не сможет прийти на прямые теле сеансы Sony также планирует выпустить в разрешении 4K отдельные съемки Кубка мира, которые будут показаны в течение лета в разных кинотеатрах по всей Европе. Британские потребители  могут также увидеть кадры ультра высокой четкости с чемпионата мира в Бразилии на UHD экранах телевизоров Sony Bravia X9 в некоторых торговых точках Великобритании.
