Теперь китайская компания расширяет свою сферу деятельности, первые 4К телевизоры Seiki ожидаются в Великобритании, где компания будет продавать 39-дюймовый 4K-телевизор за &#163;399, а 50-дюймовый за &#163;599.<br /><br />Компания получила в США относительную известность, продавая очень дешево 4K телевизоры в то время как именитые бренды  взимали внушительную наценку за свои ультра предложения. Первые европейские модели аналогичны американским 4К телевизорам Seiki. 39 и 50-дюймовые ЖК телевизоры с Ultra HD разрешением используют боковую систему светодиодной подсветки, имеют три входа HDMI, но это не HDMI 2.0, нет поддержки нового стандарта сжатия цифрового видеосигнала - HEVC, который необходим для приема телепрограмм и видео из сети в разрешении 4K.<br /><br />Но Seiki уже объявила о выпуске в скором времени новой серии ЖК телевизоров "Pro". Это будут 4K модели с HDMI 2.0. Пока нет сообщений о доступности 4К телевизоров Seiki в континентальной Европе.
