Onkyo и Pioneer являются одними из наиболее крупных производителей домашней аудиотехники высшего класса. Обе компании ежегодно полностью обновляют ассортимент ресиверов, Blu-ray плееров, домашних кинотеатров и акустических систем. Вчера появился краткий пресс-релиз о том, что Onkyo и Pioneer объединят свои силы в разработке новых перспективных моделей домашней аудио техники.

Pioneer Corporation, Onkyo Corporation и Baring Private Equity Asia достигли базового соглашения для возможности обсуждения процесса объединения аудио/ видео бизнеса Pioneer и Onkyo. Обе компании сохранят свои торговые марки и корпоративную самостоятельность.

Так что мы можем сделать выводы о том, что Onkyo и Pioneer намерены приступить к тесной кооперации, но останутся при этом самостоятельными компаниями. Партнерство между двумя японскими компаниями призвано в конечном итоге обеспечить создание конкурентоспособных продуктов для выживания производителей на переполненном рынке.

После передачи Baring 51% акций совместного предприятия, оставшиеся 49% будут распределены между Pioneer и Onkyo, которые будут прилагать усилия, чтобы повысить конкурентоспособность путем капитализации таких ресурсов двух компаний, как известные марки и совершенные технологии.

Многие детали соглашения пока не известны. Например, не ясно, что будет с компанией Gibson Guitar, сотрудничающей с Onkyo с 2012 года и с недавно приобретенной у Philips WOOX Innovations.
