Компания Samsung собирается обновить модельный ряда коммерческих дисплеев с разрешением 4K. На выставке InfoComm, проходившей с 18 по 20 июня в Лас Вегасе компания представила новое семейство QMD. Такие дисплеи сверхвысокого разрешения будут выполнены в виде тонких, но полнофункциональных панелей с повышенным в четыре раза количеством пикселей (3840 x 2160) и предназначены для престижных универмагов, гостиничной сферы и общественных мест.

Функция картинка-в-картинке позволяет одновременно отображать на экране до четырех изображений, каждое из которых поддерживает разрешение Full HD. Серия QMD также поддерживает воспроизведение Ultra HD видео с кадровой частотой до 60 Гц, благодаря наличию двух разъемов DisplayPort 1.2, и будет доступна с экранами 55 и 85 дюймов через партнеров-дистрибьюторов Samsung, начиная с августа.

Samsung также начинает выпуск профессионального 32-дюймовым UHD монитора UD970, который поступит в продажу в августе. Дальнейшим расширением семейства дисплеев Smart Signage станет новый 21,5-дюймовый коммерческий дисплей серии DB. С размером экрана примерно в газетный лист, новый дисплей позволит заменить таблички, используемые в розничной торговле, ресторанах и корпоративной среде. Он включает в себя встроенный Wi-Fi.

Среди других продуктов на выставочных стендах компании Samsung демонстрировалась видеопанорама из более чем 50 дисплеев со сверх узким обрамлением, на которых демонстрировались сменяющие друг друга пейзажи и другие видео сюжеты.
