Вслед за компанией LG с ее WebOS для смарт-телевизоров, Samsung хочет делать свои смарт-телевизоры на основе новой операционной системы (ОС) Tizen, которая также предназначена для работы на смартфонах, планшетах, смарт-часах.<br /><br />Samsung не объявил пока о каких-либо будущих телевизорах на основе Tizen и пока не известно, когда они появятся в продаже. Комплект средств разработки для ТВ платформы Tizen будет выпущен в бета-версии в июле этого года. Поэтому телевизоры с новой OC можно ожидать в 2015 году. <br /><br />Intel является партнером в разработке Tizen. На основе планов Samsung и LG по развитию собственных платформ Smart TV можно предположить, что они не являются частью новой Android TV платформы от Google, которая ожидается в этом месяце.
