Европейский спутниковый оператор Eutelsat запускает в тестовом режиме первый Ultra HD канал с использованием стандарта кодирования HEVC, при кадровой частоте 50 Гц. Цифровое изоражение будет кодироваться с использованием 10-битного цвета.<br />В настоящее время смотреть на этом телеканале по большому счету ту будет нечего, за исключением циклически повторяемого отрывка из концерта "Royal Chapel at Versailles - Monteverdi's Verspers". <br /><br />Для приема телеканала в Ultra HD, вам нужна телеприставка или Ultra HD телевизор с интерфейсом HDMI 2.0, совместимый с DVB-S2 и стандартом кодирования HEVC, при 10-битном цвете. Таким требованиям удовлетворяет, например, телевизор Panasonic серии AX800. приемная спутниковая антенна должна быть направлена на спутник Hotbird (13° East).
