Поэтому компания считает, что сейчас самое подходящее время для выпуска нового устройства с встроенным жестким диском на 1TB для записи и воспроизведения телепрограмм в разрешении Ultra HD. Встроенный жесткий диск способен хранить около 53 часов видео в разрешении 4K.<br /><br />Стоимость Aquos TU-UD1000 составляет около $1180, но не стоит ожидать его в Европе. У Sharp в настоящее время нет планов по его продажам за пределами Японии.<br /><br />Sharp Aquos TU-UD1000 один из первых потребительских продуктов с встроенным декодером HEVС. Новый рекордер Sharp построен на основе чипсета ViXS XCode 6400. ViXS заявляет, что однокристальная система XCode 6400 поддерживает Ultra HD 4K и основной 10-й профиль HEVC со скоростью 60 кадров в секунду.<br /><br />Представитель Sharp охарактеризовал Aquos TU-UD1000, как "первый в отрасли 4K рекордер с функцией приема 4K видео» и высказал намерение компании "опередить своих конкурентов".<br /><br />С 2 июня тройка японских телевещателей, организовавших Next Generation Television and Broadcasting Promotion Forum, начинает трансляцию телепрограмм в разрешении 4К, с будущим прицелом на 8К.
