Nikkei сообщает, что Sony намерена уделить особое внимание жидкокристаллически 4K телевизорам. Активная фаза в развитии телевизионной OLED технологии опять может перейти в выжидательное состояние.<br /><br />На самом деле Sony уже второй раз  тормозит в разработке OLED телевизоров. После выпуска первого в мире 11-дюймового OLED телевизора  XEL-1 Sony прекратила его производство ввиду высокой стоимости низкого спроса. <br />После того как Samsung и LG начали активно осваивать производство OLED панелей большого размера, японская  компания подхватила с опозданием эту инициативу и первой (совместно c Panasonic) разработала 56-дюймовый 4K телевизор. А теперь, по сообщению Nikkei, Sony опять замораживает программу развития OLED и переводит специалистов в другие отделы.<br /><br />По неподтвержденным слухам, Sony и Panasonic в настоящее время ведут переговоры с LG о покупке корейских OLED панелей для сборки своих телевизоров. Если это действительно так, можно лишь строить предположения, чем это может закончиться и проводить параллели. Чтобы лучше понять ситуацию, необходимо предоставить, что Sony в настоящее время является одним из лидеров рынка Ultra HD. Японский производитель видит реальную возможность использовать свой бренд для того, чтобы еще больше расширить долю рынка. В 2014 году будет выпущено, по сути, семь моделей Ultra HDTV, значительно больше по сравнению с предыдущим годом (более чем в два раза). <br /><br />Заявленная цель заключается d том, чтобы в четыре раза увеличить продажи к концу финансового года. Ultra HD TV будет составлять от 40 до 50% телевизоров Sony, в то время как в прошлом году этот показатель остановился на 10-20%.
