Внедряя расширенные возможности Ambilight в телевизоры Philips линейки 2014 года, TP Vision стремилась найти новые способы использования световых эффектов для создания у зрителя еще более ярких ощущений от просмотра. Так появилась концепция «волны света». В Light Waves динамичные сцены из серфинга дополнены оригинальными световыми эффектами, иллюстрирующими преимущества технологии Ambilight. Ролик Light Waves можно посмотреть на канале в YouTube™, а также на официальных страницах Philips TV в ВКонтакте. Новые возможности Ambilight будут доступны на всех последних моделях телевизоров Philips, оснащенных уникальной светодиодной технологией подсветки.<br /><br />Главными исполнителями в Light Waves стали Кристофер «Чиппа» Уилсон (Chippa Wilson) и Дэмиен Хобгуд (Damien Hobgood) – одни из ведущих мировых профессиональных серферов.<br /><br />Фильм был снят с помощью специального оборудования и камеры с разрешением Ultra HD. Для съемок сцен с эффектами подсветки были использованы особые доски для серфинга и жилеты со встроенной разноцветной светодиодной подсветкой. Съемочный процесс проходил в одних из лучших мест для занятия  серфингом: на Мальдивах и в Дубае.
