По аналогии с телевизорами Sharp Quattron с Pro, Samsung и LG также будут предлагать так называемые "бюджетные UHD телевизоры" с четырьмя субпикселями. К минусам корейского предложения относится то, что это не RGBY с желтым субпикселем в дополнение к обычным трех основным цветам, как предлагает Sharp. Корейские компании выбрали структуру RGBW, используемую также в OLED телевизорах LG.<br /><br />Новые панели  Samsung называются Green UHD и состоят из 1920 х 2160 пикселей, состоящих из четырех субпикселей RGBW. Панели LG называются  Green + UHD и состоят из 2880 х 2160 пикселей также со структурой субпикселей RGBW. <br />Производство этих новых панелей запланировано на второй квартал 2014 года. Они позволят создать альтернативу имеющимся в продаже UHD телевизорам. О стоимости и продаже таких телевизоров в Европе пока ничего не известно.
