По этой причине на протяжении последних лет были разработаны технологии видео обработки для псевдо локального затемнения с использованием программных алгоритмов. Определенные сведения о принципах работы Micro Dimming Pro можно получить из официальной документации TP Vision.<br /><br />Речь идет о Micro Dimming  и Micro Dimming Pro, которые способны анализировать содержимое экранной картинки в 6400 зонах, с тем, чтобы внести коррективы в каждой из них, отдельно от других. Это всего лишь вариант усовершенствованного программного алгоритма. Версия Pro добавляет интегрированный в программный алгоритм  датчик освещенности, который может регулировать яркость подсветки в зависимости от освещенности в помещении.<br /><br />В этом и состоит разница между Micro Dimming и  Micro Dimming Pro. Стандартная версия использует алгоритм, который направлен на достижение компромисса между наиболее возможными уровнями черного и живыми светлыми оттенками.
