Технология Quattron использует по четыре субпикселя для каждого экранного пикселя, вместо трех в традиционных ЖК панелях. К первичным цветам красному, зеленому и синему (RGB) добавляется желтый (RGBY). <br /><br />В Quattron Pro суб-пиксели делятся на две группы, чтобы получить по 8 субпикселей для каждого пикселя, в общей сложности на экране получается около 16 млн. субпикселей. Через порт USB можно записывать телепрограммы или использовать функцию записи для отложенного просмотра.
