К ключевым усовершенствованиям в новой серии можно отнести функцию двойного экрана под названием Multi-Link и усовершенствованную смарт-платформу. <br /><br />Далеко не все убеждены в необходимости телевизоров с изогнутыми экранами, особенно с относительно небольшими экранами 65 дюймов и меньше. Дополнением к визуальным особенностям H8000 является тонкий ободок с матовым металлическим отливом вокруг экрана.<br /><br />По качеству изображения H8000 в значительной степени аналогичен своему предшественнику F8000. Обе серии используют боковую систему LED подсветки панелей, локальное затемнение для представления более глубокого черного цвета, а также повышенную до 200 Гц частоту обновления изображения, чтобы уменьшить смазывание и дрожание изображения. Для изогнутых экранов Samsung использует новую систему Auto Depth Enhancer, которая позволяет увеличить визуально воспринимаемую глубину изображения.<br /><br />Наиболее интересной является функция Multi-Link, позволяющая разделить экран по вертикали надвое для разных источников видео, таких как телепрограммы и интернет-браузер. Согласно заявления Samsung, усовершенствованный четырехъядерный процессор сможет вдвое ускорить загрузку веб-страниц.<br /><br />В 2014 году Smart телевизоры Samsung имеют значительно улучшенные системы управления голосом и жестами, включая управление с помощью пальцев. Подобным образом можно будет переключать телевизионные каналы и регулировать громкость, что менее утомительно, чем движение рукой. H8000 можно в последующем обновить с помощью замены блока Smart Evolution.<br /><br />Если оставить в стороне споры относительно необходимости изогнутых экранов, из недостатков H8000 можно отметить лишь отсутствие интегрированной камеры Skype, которую придется подключить к порту USB для сеансов видеосвязи. Нет также сообщений о поддержке Miracast и NFC, поэтому функция беспроводного зеркального отображения портативных дисплеев на телевизионном экране будет работать лишь с устройствами Samsung с технологией AllShareCast.<br />
