Являясь партнером МОК, Panasonic  и в дальнейшем будет поддерживать организационную деятельность Олимпийского комитета, обеспечивая олимпийские объекты современным оборудованием, технической поддержкой и сопутствующими сервисами.<br /><br />В рамках XXII Олимпийских Игр компания Panasonic,объявила о подписании нового соглашения с МОК о пролонгации своего статуса Официального международного Партнера Олимпийских игр (Official Worldwide Olympic Partnership) до 2024 года. По условиям нового соглашения Panasonic обеспечит высокотехнологичными решениями и оборудованием зимние Олимпийские  игры в Пхенчхане 2018 года, летние игры в Токио 2020 года, а также последующие зимние и летние Игры до 2024 года включительно.<br /> <br />В преддверии Олимпийских игр в 2020 году в Токио Panasonic основал также специальное олимпийское подразделение – Tokyo Olympic Enterprise Division с целью разработки новых технологий для Олимпийских игр и расширения бизнес-возможностей корпорации.<br /><br />"Panasonic поддерживает Олимпийские игры уже 25 лет.
