Они заменят текущие модели F9000. Вот, что мы знаем об изогнутых моделях серии U9000 и плоских U8550.<br /><br />Серия U9000 состоит из 55, 65 и 78 дюймовых моделей с процессором, который позволяет повышать разрешение до 4К для видеоматериалов формата SD и HD. Кроме того, имеется ограниченная система локального затемнения, которая должна усовершенствовать глубину черного, но, так как это модели с боковой LED подсветкой, эффект будет ограниченным. Несмотря на кривой экран, модели могут крепиться на стену, заявляет Samsung. <br />Упрощенные модели с плоским экраном представлены в серии U8550. Они будут доступны с 50, 55, 60, 65 и 75-дюймовыми экранами. Эти телевизоры представляются прямыми преемниками нынешней серии  F9000, и отличаются такой же системой обработки изображения, как у U9000, при аналогичной но плоской конструкции с подставкой.<br /><br />Обе серии поддерживают обработку видеоматериалов с использованием кодека HEVC - следующий стандарт сжатия после MPEG4 (H.264). Кроме того, Samsung заявляет, что все новые Ultra HD телевизоры компании оснащены интерфейсом HDMI 2.0, который необходим для приема 4K сигналов с частотой до 60 кадров в секунду, поддерживается HDCP 2.2 - последняя версия отраслевого стандарта для защиты от копирования. Новая Ultra HD телевизоров, очевидно, обладают всеми новейшими интеллектуальными функциями телевизоров Samsung. <br />Одной из новых функций является функция "Multi-Link Screen", которая позволяет разделить экран на окна. Разъем для комплекта Evolution Kit в обоих сериях телевизоров позволяет за дополнительную плату модернизировать телевизоры в ближайшие годы. Основное различие между U9000 и U8550 в том, что последний не поддерживает все жеста управления, которые есть у U9000. <br /><br />Новые 4К телевизоры Samsung, появятся в продаже в марте или апреле вместе с новыми Full HD телевизорами.
