Пока пользователи расстраиваются из-за выхода Panasonic с телевизионного рынка плазменных панелей, компания надеется выйти на магистральный путь развития, а ее акции уже устремились вверх на 19 % на фоне новостей о том, что последняя квартальная прибыль более чем утроилась и, компания заявила, что близится конец ее дорогостоящих планов реструктуризации. Коренным переломом в судьбе стал девятый месяц нынешнего финансового года, когда чистая прибыль выросла на 20 процентов до 73,7 млрд. иен ($722 млн.), по сравнению со средним показателем 44 млрд. иен ($431 млн.). Большинство аналитиков ожидало подобный набор результатов и за этот период.<br /><br />Panasonic пережил потери более чем в $14,7 млрд. в течение последних двух финансовых лет и всплеск цен на акции представляет собой самый большой скачок с 1974 года. Чистая прибыль с апреля по декабрь 2013 г. в размере $2,5 млрд. меняет картину на фоне чистых издержек в размере $6,15 млрд. за тот же период в 2012 году.
