Samsung определенно заслуживает уважения, потому что это удивительный поворот. <br /><br />С одной стороны, компания довольно поздно выпустила на рынок свои наиболее доступные UHDTV, через несколько недель после конкурентов Sony и LG. В то время Sony контролировала 82,8 % долю на рынке UHD в Северной Америке, а доля Samsung была жалких 2,5 %.<br /><br />Но за последние шесть месяцев локомотив Samsung смог нагнать и превзойти Sony, к декабрю доля  4K телевизоров Samsung составили 49,8 процента всех поставок, по сравнению с 39,9 процентами у Sony.<br /><br />Японская компания будет очень разочарована, потеряв свое лидерство на рынке 4K, особенно учитывая то, как агрессивно она разрабатывает новые технологии. Sony в течение последних 12 месяцев сделала гораздо больше, чем Samsung или LG, чтобы попытаться предоставить 4K контент своим зрителям.<br /><br />Но, к сожалению для Sony, Samsung кажется непобедимым. Компания занимает первое место на североамериканском рынке телевизоров в течение восьми лет подряд, а в прошлом году получила 32,3 процента от всех продаж телевизоров.
