Сократить их размеры в четыре раза теоретически можно, но потребует серьезных капитальных вложений, которые почти наверняка не окупятся при существующих тенденциях на телевизионном рынке.<br /><br />Другой причиной, вынудившей уйти с рынка технологию высококачественного отображения видео на домашнем экране, стали постоянно ужесточающиеся требования к энергосбережению, в частности со стороны евро чиновников. <br /><br />Таким образом, очередной лидер (после Pioneer) в развитии плазменной технологии - компания Panasonic посчитала, что "овчинка не стоит выделки", даже несмотря на уже вложенные средства и полученный результат.
